What type of dog you runnin 28 gauge?

not that it matters too much, my llewellin hasnt been puttin me on many ruffs this season either.

I use springer spaniels. Great dogs for thick cover, all your shots are wing shots. They are no good for open fields. The boys in N. Sask. drive the old logging roads on their quads and spot them on the side of the road then take them with head shots. Good clean birds. The coveys averaged about 8 birds.
