Welcome to the group. Your collection includes some above average very high quality pieces. You have a very good eye, and have put quality above quantity. Does your first year model have both extractors? I have a very early first year model that does not have the stock hollowed out like most of the pre-55 guns just a hole drilled for the stock bolt. How is your's done?

HI and thanks for the welcome , the first year gun has 2 extractors but the serial number is in the 1100s so it originally had a single extractor. I have never had the recoil pad off so I am not sure about the stock . It does appear that the roll stamped scene on the reciever has been hand chased . Probably still had some bugs in the stamping process and had to clean it up a bit

Yes it does look hand chased. Thank you for sharing those detailed pictures. The hand chasing really adds nice detail to the scene and as I am sure you know some extra value. I have seen other ones on the internet but never in person. Very nice piece with a fair amount of finish left. I have one in the 7xx range and a 37S in the 19xx range. Both have a nice roll stamping on them, neither touched up. With luck I will find one like yours some day.
