The 370/T8 wrench that came with my new barrel and choke set from Ithaca is for removing and resecuring the vent rib on Upper Sandusky made Ithaca barrels. The rib is dovetailed onto the studs and a single "torks" head screw holds it in place. Remove the screw and the rib will slide off, front to back. Older 37's used a small drift pin through the rib and rear stud to secure it, requiring a small punch and hammer to remove the rib.

Thanks, after posting I discovered the rib screw. I ordered the adj. comb on my Trap model and thought it was to be used for those adjustments...but those screws are Hex head.
