Well after doing a Gold Model 37 (called it the "Golden One") I did a Silver one. (called it "The Silver Bullet") Here are a few pictures. The dummy shell is solid silver. I am working on a Copper one next (called "The Copper Cannon:) All guns are functional. If you have a "Safe Queen" It might as well be a PRETTY one.

Keep it as your "beater" and shoot it. I have a nice 37R 12 ga. that I haven't shot yet. My gun partner and I just scooped a 1965 37 that looks like it just came out of the store. Somebody is going to get a very nice old shotgun!
If there ain't a gun range in heaven, then I'm going to hades.

copper is kinda nice
I'm probably the only one to think so but...
I think it will be better looking when it oxidizes and turns green,if you let it

So far it is a nice shinny copper color. It is new! In time if it is not maintained it might turn green. Not on my watch. Who knows after I'm gone. The idea was to get a set that was unique and I think I achieved that. They are all shootable, but probably won't be shot. It is kind of nice to open up the gun safe and show some one, something they have never seen before, but can recognize what it was. Thanks Donald.

I've just finished my next Old 37. I have called it "The Laminator" I got a butt stock and fore arm from a Ducks Unlimited and had the receiver case hardened, then had all the engraving deepened and gold inlayed, shortened the barrel to 25", added a "duck" Sid Bell pistol cap, put on a black recoil pad, and got a laminated shotshell. Now it is like the others.

Donald, you definitely lead with the '37 customs, perhaps you could make a camo set? woodland, desert, urban etc? just don't make a pink one please!!! ;)
Merry Christmas and a great 2017 to you
