How to clean a 37 defender ( 2013 issue)

You should be able to find a you tube video on the break down of a Ithaca model 37. The only difference being that the defender usually has a fixed barrel.

That's my point ,the barrel is fixed...now what...hope i get instructions when my gun arrives...

I just use a bore snake for the barrel. The bolt and such I just allow to be about half way out, spray some foaming cleaner in there... let it work, wipe out what I can, clean the rest out with some Birchwood Casey spray cleaner.

That is about all I can think of to clean mine. :shrug:
