hi all!
i' am from italy, and i have at home an 1976 ithaca 37 featherlight...
my dad bought it 20 years ago, and searching around i didn't find nothing about this "strange" ithaca
..is an 20 inch 7 shot parkenized ithaca featherlight, 2 3/4 shot, slam fire.
now i dont know if someone changed some parts, because online i didnt find a featherlight parkenized with 7 shot and slam fire.. did ithaca created a model like that?
thanks for the informations.. i will took some photos as soon as possible!
i ll post some photos with better quality:

Should be all original. Relatively common configuration. The slam fire is dependent on the type of trigger group that is installed. Your piece looks almost mint.

Apart from having a 20" barrel - mine are 24" - this gun sounds very similar to mine:

However, mine are MAG- (3") chambers. Did they also make them in 2-3/4"?

Mark.

Yes they where made in 2&3/4 until 3 inch became the standard. I have 2 and they are both 2&3/4.

Oooo, I like the bottom one. And I'm not normally a "magpie" (attracted to shiny things) kinda guy.

So, did they make both chamber sizes in both barrel lengths or was it 2-3/4" => 20" and 3" => 24"?

Regards,

Mark.

once they went to 3" it was standard for both 12g and 20g.
16g stayed 2-3/4 but that's because they don't make 16g ammo in 3".
