I've been ruined.

The first 37 I shot was my Dad's 1952 model. Then I bought a Winchester nope. Then a 20 ga 37. Sold it when I needed money. Then picked up a Rem 870-great if you like stamped parts. Then another 37-this time in 12 gauge. It had issues, so it went down the road. I've had auto's doubles-you name it, but I keep coming back to the 37. What is it about them? right now I have a 1939 12ga that looks terrible on the outside, great on the inside, and even though I've got guns that are much more valuable, that old timer is what I see myself chasing pheasants with. (Dad's may be going on some hunts again this fall. Dad can't hunt anymore but it looks like I'll be the gun's caretaker. Too bad about that poly choke craze though).

Is there a cure, maybe a 12 step program?

I thought there was, so I took the program. It didn't take. After the twelfth 37 I continued right on. I now own 18 37s. Does anyone now of a 20 program? Donald.

I have some where between more than I need and not as many as I want. Bottom line is I'll be buying 37's until I'm just to old.
