Here's a nice Walther PPK/s in .380acp that was built in West Germany in 1972. I picked it up used from a friend who decided to move up to a Beretta Cougar 9mm for carry. Cost to me...$400. I added the Pachmayr grips and a new spring package.
The PPK/S was developed following the enactment of the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA68) in the United States. One of the provisions of GCA68 banned the importation of pistols and revolvers not meeting certain requirements of length, weight, and other "sporting" features into the U.S. The PPK failed the "Import Points" test of the GCA68 by a single point. Walther addressed this situation by combining the PP's frame with the PPK's barrel and slide to create a pistol that weighed slightly more than the PPK. The additional ounce or two of weight of the PPK/S compared to the PPK was sufficient to provide the extra needed import points. WALTHER PPK/s |

A PPK/s is a great shooter...my wife shoots mine quite often!

I picked up a new PPQ in .40 S&W. It is alot like a Glock except for the contoured lines, which I prefer and a shorter trigger.
I really like it, it shoot very well. --Jim

Thanks Guys. For some reason not too many people are looking at them for purchase, but they are pretty nice. Easy to take down and they shoot well, too. Not too expensive either.

Here's one I bet you've never seen. This is a Walther Model 8 with the original holster. I bought it from a WWII veteran who told me he was presented this By a German officer as he was surrendering. I did sell it and made a nice chunk of money. it was pristine and I doubt it was ever really fired. It really was just a ceremonial side arm used by staff officers. Even the holster was still soft and supple.

Thanks fellas!
Keep 'em clean and they run like a dream. I've put just about every kind of .22lr ammo through 'em that you can imagine, even sub-sonic, and they both run like champs. The mags can be hit or miss, but noting a little tweaking can't fix. The feed lips on some are a bit tight and can cause FTL issue, but open them up slightly with a needle nose plier and they're good to go... "We live in a society of wolves. I find my .22 Browning Buckmark runs the best with high velocity ammo like CCI Mini Mags
