Well I stepped up and ordered six of themark II's. Next payday I'll get the same of the pilot survival knives. It's y'all's totem now. This would make for an awfully economical custom build!

I posted this in the GunBlack section, but I'll say it here too. Got the blades to day. Absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend them. I can't wait to get started putting handles on them. May they are nice. Y'all really need to check them out.
And Steve is a great guy to deal with. Highly recommend. |

I found this picture on the net it looks just like mine. Buck Short Nighthawk. Has a really thick blade I love it and it holds a nice edge. Made in US I paid $45

I will, I'm planning on green canvas micarta with stainless hardware. They should look good and be practically indestructible. It'll be a couple of weeks before I get on them. Just too many irons in the fire right now.
