I picked this one up a while back, the Cold Steel SPARTAN. It's one beefy knife. Has a great feel and weight and I love the recurve blade. It's my first knife from Cold Steel, but I see a few more in my future.

Most people would pick a knife based on a need...such as a skinning knife for field dressing deer or a fliet knife for preparing fish, or a folding knife for say self defense.
