Can you make the site so it can recognize our computers and keep us logged in forever? An option for the users possibly? Most of the other forums I'm on do that.

I will look into that. I know that it keeps me logged into my computers currently.

I am using firefox. It's set to accept cookies. If I shut down firefox, it deletes my history, but when I come back on the same day now I'm still logged in. When I come back the next day, I'm not. It's like I have a one day cookie.

I don't think so. I'm on other boards that I haven't had to log back on in years.

From Ithaca Owners FAQ

Why do I get logged off automatically?
If you do not check the Log me in automatically box when you login, the board will only keep you logged in for a preset time. This prevents misuse of your account by anyone else. To stay logged in, check the box during login. This is not recommended if you access the board from a shared computer, e.g. library, internet cafe, university computer lab, etc. If you do not see this checkbox, it means the board administrator has disabled this feature.

I don't see any such box.

I found it. I was logging on in the boxes at the top of the home page next to the IO logo. Theres no check box up there. I had to hit the "login" link next to the FAQ and Members to get to the actual login page where I found the "log me in automatically" box.
