  April 1945 my neighbor's unit completed a night action against a Luftwaffe A-A battery. He took out the radio and these pictures were on the desk by the radio. He put them in his pocket where they were carried until the end a few weeks later. One photo has an address from Eindoven, Holland on the back. The action took place in Germany along the Czec border. Two Germans were killed, over 100 captured, with no American casualties. |
