Hello: I'm new to the site. My first gun was a model 37 in 16 gauge that I bought when I was 16, that was 42 years ago and it still looks like new. I also have a model 37 Centenial in 12 gauge, serial number 0647. Can anyone give me an idea of what a Centenial model might be worth in excellent condition. Thanks.

Howdy Dutchflier, and welcome to the club. You might want to go to a dealer or something of that sorts to have them appraise it. Do you know when it was made? If not check our topic here and click on the links to find your serial number and then it'll tell you the date made....

Thank you! According to the stats my gun Cent # 0647 was made between 1980-1983. It's a absolutly beautiful gun. Almost too nice to take out and use. I was thinking of taking it to Ithaca in Sandusky or to Cabella's and get a appraisal. Any opinions?

I'd take it to Ithaca. Cabela's will think they may get to buy or trade for it later and hold them to the real price. I believe every gun is a tool and none are ever too nice to use.
Also, a "Welcome" from me.

From what I see these limited edition gun don't command much of a premium price maybe less. I picked up a 91 Ducks Unlimited Canada in unfired condition for $ 380.00. Only 650 made. It had sat on the rack for quite a time. As you say to nice to use. I took mine out and shot a few ducks. I paid $400.00 for a 1976 DSPS in unfired condition.
