Hi Everyone,
My name is Erik, I am 18, I live in Northern Virginia, and I am going to Northern Virginia Community College for Computer Science/Programming. I like Video Games, Shooting, Airsoft(kinda like paintball), Fishing, Long Naps, and Computers. I received a new production run Ithaca M37 from my father this past Christmas. It is my first gun and I love it, my father got me the smooth and rifled barrels, I mostly use it for trap and clay shooting(I am getting ~22/25 per round :D ), but I plan on using it for deer hunting next season. My father has been taking me to a friends property to hunt since we came back from Hawaii ~2 years ago. Unfortunately the past 2 years have been very hard on the deer in Northern Virginia (very heavy snow the winters of 2010 and 2011 and an outbreak of the Bluetongue Virus), and we have only gotten 3 deer in 2 years.

Welcome!!!!!
Whitetails here in Ontario have been hit with a couple of hard winters as well, plus coyote #'s are through the roof.... Making my beloved whitetail #'s drop. This winter (if that's what you'd call it) has been great for the deer here.. Next to no snow, and hardly a handful of snapin cold days.

But if you hunt hard you will be rewarded!! ;)

a 23-25 per round? that is terrific! I am thrilled you love your new Ithaca. You will be able to pass it to your son, just like my dad passed his to me. Computer programming is a great field to get into, Good luck with it and have fun!
