Did you find us through a google search for something specific? Did a friend or family member tell you about us? Perhaps you found your way here from one of our sister sites?

We look forward to reading about how we all ended up in the same place!

i found it thru google

i was doing a general search on restoring a m37 and many pages into it i found a thread about restoring a 1938 16GA m37 by ripvanwinkle.
after reading though it ,i took notice of the forum name .

if it wasn't for the fact that i couldn't sleep and it was 3am i mighta missed it , cause it was buried deep.
however seeing the forum is only about 8mths old i can see this changing.

either way after aprox 15 yrs of looking and turning up relatively nothing ,it was a great find

I am glad you found us and rest assured that this place will continue to grow! If you check out our sister site www.MossbergOwners.com that was first created back in August 2010 you can get an idea of what to expect.

The link to it was posted over on Shotgunworld.com
I'm sure glad that it was.

I got on straight from the Ithaca company website. I figured I would lurk a bit before opening my yap. But I am glad I did.

Accidental stumble looking for a Ithaca image to use a laptop wall paper for a computer that had no saved photos.

I was looking up Ithaca shotguns and ran across your site. I am a retired deputy sheriff and have always loved the look and lines of the model 37 DS Police Special plus this is the shotgun I was trained on before the department went to the Remingtons. I have one that was made in the late 80's or early 90's if my memory serves me correctly. My second one was used and I believe it was an old police shotgun with the lettering E.P.D., whatever that department is. If anyone can tell me when this was made I would appreciate it. The serial number is 9889XX. There is no hunting scene engraved on the sides of the receiver.

Welcome aboard! What dealer were you talking with? I was living up in the Ithaca area this past year but recently moved.

By accident. Was cleaning up the bookmarks and figured since IthacaGun LLC went kaput the link wouldn't work. It did; I scrolled and here I am.

My model 37 is 16 gauge, built about '44 by serial number and still my meat gun.
