My son received a very old Ithaca as a gift from a relative. I am trying to learn more about it, hope someone here could help me. It has two external hammers, double triggers. It is marked Ithaca N Y on each side. The only other marks I have found are on the frame and under the barrel which I assume to be the serial # 403. Don't want to sell it but would like to know more about value and rarity.
Thanks for your help,
Robert

Welcome to the Ithaca Owners Forum !!
It would help if you could post a picture of the firearm, as well as any markings on the receiver/barrel. Photo Bucket is a free image storage program from where you can post pics to any forum... Here is a helpful link for serial numbers: http://ithacagun.com/pdfs/serialnumbers.pdf |

That sounds like a great gift.
Like Shooter said, we would need some pictures to tell you anything more, but a low serial numbered gun like that could be special. Love to know more about it. A flash in the pan, a puff of smoke, and a prayer to the great Lord on high...
