Me, I guess that I'm a sucker for homeless Ithaca's needing some love!

Wife and I were at the Ohio Gun Collector's show in Wilmington today, and I came across a fellow who had a Crass model that needed a new stock. And kind of like a puppy with a broken leg, I decided that I needed to take it home and give it lots of love (and some new wood).

Mind you, I ALREADY have one Crass on the workbench right now that I just finished inletting...

But I just couldn't stand to walk by and listen to it whimper It wants to get back to doing what it was originally made for - breaking clays!

I wish I had the skill to restore homeless Ithaca's myself but for now I can live vicariously through your threads! I look forward to seeing your Crass get back to doing what it does best.

Yea...me too !! Can't wait to see the pics of the restration !
