I have a 1903 Model that had been sitting around for what looks like the past hundred years in the back seat of a pickup truck. No rust or major pits but really gunked up. So, I decided I could take it all apart and get everything cleaned up and operating smoothly, which I did, but now I can't get the springs back in correctly. I've done every thing I can think of and they just won't work. Does anybody out there have any pictures or advice on how to get these back in?

I've never worked on one of these so I wouldn't even begin to tell you how. If I could see it, I could figure it out. Wish I could help you.
