It's a 12 gauge grade (or quality) 1-1/2, serial number 311xxx which dates it to 1919. I was surprised to find it has Damascus barrels - I was thinking they had been discontinued on the Flues guns about two years earlier.

The barrel lug is marked "Nitro Powder Proved." The bores are in perfect condition, so I'm tempted to shoot it with RST or Polywad shells. But my late father's warning about not shooting smokeless powder shells in Damascus guns still rings in my ears!

The barrels are 26" and are marked 4 and 4 indicating full choke in each. However, there is evidence that the chokes have been changed. I see reaming marks at the muzzle and according to my choke gauge they measure M/IC.
