Do the barrels interchange from the Trap model to the Defense model to the Deer Slayer model and so on?

The Deer Slayer II & III as well as the Defense have fixed barrels. Other than that all barrels are interchangeable providing the gun serial number is above 855,000.

The other issue (even with serials above 855k) is that long mag tube D.S. Police can't take a standard barrel due to where the lock lug is soldered on.

Good Catch.

I would also like to point out that while all NY made guns with serial numbers made after SN 855000 are technically interchangeable, I would still check the headspace to make sure it isn't out of spec.
Sometimes it is just a few thou out, but that is enough.
