My 49. Been in the family since new. First shot it at age 5 in 1985, still take it hunting and plinking. Its really one of the best firearms I've owned. I'm not sure what age it is. All I know is my great grandfather bought it. I love it because its light, short and dead accurate.

That is a classic. Wish I had picked one up when I had the chance.

Hi , my father gave me his ITHACA M49R (n° 115663) bought in France in the seventies i think. It's in very good conditions.
I post some photos.
I've any questions. Which rounds (bullets) can i put inside ? I think .22 LR, long, maybe short. And .22 Magnum ?
What maintenance should I do ? I how ?
And one more, can i mount a scope ? where can i buy the pieces ? (i seen a picture with a side mount).

Thanks a lot and sorry for my frenglish ;-)
