I just got back from my fathers with a huge load of knives, ammo, reloader & supplies, firearms, etc. He is down sizing his collection and I was the only one he wanted to give it to. There was 5 shotguns he passed on to me, but one I've wanted forever! Ithaca SKB XL900 in mint condition with the original box from when he bought it. :) I will snap some pics of it to share, and post soon........by the way it's in perfect working condition, just spent a box of shells. (he couldn't remember the last time it was fired)

Mr bride would let you look but not shoot, the 40 acreas around the office is a breeding and brooding area, no hunting, and they know it big time. The really good bucks stay in the woods about 400 yards out so the challenge is there for my boys to hunt the other 160 acres. We have been doing wildlife habitat managemnet here for 20 years.

I am looking at purchasing an XL900 12 gauge locally listed :o I just have a couple questions about this type of shotgun.... :o ... :?: How many shells are held in the tube? , and is the gas operation easy to maintain. Right now I only have a Mossberg 500 with some tactical accessories, but I am starting to keep a variety of styles in my gun cabinet, and this gun is listed for $300 and is said to be in good condition. Any information would be helpful, thanks, and I am happy to join this forum even though my dad has an Ithaca but I have never shot it, it was his fathers and it is more of a senimental item to both of us, but it's always locked up in his safe, and since I am his only son, I will one day be a part of my collection! :D
