I think I have three acronym right. Do any of you do these tips of competitions? A guy at my church shoots this at a local range. He told me that next month they are having a BUG only shoot. Five rounds only, no reloads allowed. I'm thinking of going with the new smith. What loads would you recommend. Plain old 158 grain .38's?

Any tips before I go?

Bring extra ammo and match fees. With the exception of the most strictly run matches, shooting IDPA and IPSC is generally a ton of fun.

Do make sure your gun handling skills are up to the task. Safety is paramount at these things, so know where your trigger finger is, where the muzzle is, and have a quality holster available.
