I recall a model called the "Roadblocker" which was a non-walnut, hardwood stocked, plain barrel model of the Mag 10. I believe law enforcement used them. Has anyone seen or owned one of these, or know anymore about them?

Also: What years the Roadblocker version was made? I don't think it was the entire time of the Mag 10, but don't know.

All I can remember about them is they were made mid 70's-mid 80's there abouts, and they were plain, no rib, no checkering. They got the same hype as the .44 Auto Mag did when it came out in the 60's. Not much help, I know.

I believe they were short barreled 22"-26" and rifled.
I also think they were made with 5 shell magazines instead of the 2 shell waterfowlers.

they are not common guns ,they got a fad following that bought them up quick and still must do so.
I've never seen one in person

It's not impossible, but a 5-shot magazine tube would have required a complete revamp of the gas system. I can't figure out how to add a photo, but all that I've seen on-line look like "standard" length forends with no extended magazine tube. -Ed
