Forearm. Question

Hello from Virginia I-have acquired a ringtail for end wood that is to short for my forearm iron .Have done some research ant find a solution . This wood measures 5 3/4 does not seat and is to short for my iron . Any idea where I can find the correct iron . The wood for end is factory new condition unfinished would like to use it or find proper replacement .

UPDATE This forarm handle requires a 5 5/8 slide tube looking for one any suggestions THANKS

would help to know the guns manufacturing date
as over the years slightly different styles of wood and sometimes different irons were used.

for instance in early 50's the ringed forends are common , by the end of 50s they were beaver tails

This was a new old stock buy ring tail shorter than others I have appears to need shorter forearm iron .

new old stock could mean from any number of generations .
all generations of irons will work on the gun ,
but you have to match the iron and wood part
